3 Exercises To Achieve Legs Like Carrie Underwood

Blog

Carrie Underwood is a well-known musician. She has the money to pay people to make her meals and help her eat well, as well as the time to workout properly on a daily basis with a personal trainer. Something the normal everyday person probably doesn't have. Or do you? You can achieve a fit body like a celebrity, only you will need to make your own meals and you will need to hold yourself accountable for finding the time to exercise each day. See below for a list of exercises to get you started to get legs like Carrie Underwoods.

1. Pulse Squats

Stand with your feet hip width apart and have a chair nearby to hold onto. You are going to bend your knees into a squat, then hold the position. You will then slowly move up and down in a pulse movement (without moving out of the squat position). Try to keep your weight back in your heels, not in your toes. Pulse for 30 seconds and try to move up to an entire minute when this moves becomes too easy. You'll be able to feel this in your glutes, hamstrings and quad muscles.

2. Stair Squats

This move involves stairs, so if you don't have any in your home, you can just use a small stool (or a workout step). Starting in a squat position, move up the stairs one foot at a time turned to the side (rather than face on). Continue going up in the squat position. Walk back down the stairs and repeat turned to the other side and starting with the other foot. Go up about 5 steps and repeat on each side. If you can do more, do so and add more stairs with each workout. This move works your glutes, hamstrings, quads and calves.

3. Skater Jumps

Standing with one leg slightly bent and the other off the floor, you are going to jump to the side and stand on the opposite leg. Move side to side in this movement trying to cover quite a bit of ground with each jump. Pick up the pace to get your heart rate going. Repeat this jump movement 25 times and increase the reps when it gets too easy. This works your glute medius, quad, hamstring and calve muscles.

These exercises will help to slim and shape your legs, but exercise alone won't get you there. You will also need to eat well. Drink plenty of water, skip seconds and reduce snacks throughout the day. Talk to your physician before beginning any fitness routine. Talking About Learning To Love Exercise

Hello, I’m Gene. Welcome to my website about exercise. While I was growing up, I viewed exercise as an unnecessary way to torture myself. I did not have the confidence required to see that I had the ability to perform exercises with the best of them. Through the years, I have learned to love exercise by slowly ramping up my activity levels. I always switch up my exercise routines to avoid growing bored with the activities. I hope to use this site to help other people learn to love exercise as well. Please feel free to visit my site often to learn all you can about this important topic.
